Retirement but not tired
Husband's healths deemed that I needed to stay home so my retirement date was March 31, 2011. It was really hard to do. I really loved working with the students in the library and covering a class when they could not find a sub. But I retired running. Cleaning the basement. Moving my sewing room to the Kansas Room on the main floor of the home. Have started learned things about our business that I had always left in my husband's hands. Have got a quilt top put together. Made a thread catcher for my quilting. Plus another pin/needle holder for my quilt ironing board. Plus primary taking care of my husband and keeping track of all of his medical appointments. Oldest son came out and made a ramp in the entrance room. VERY NICE JOB! Youngest son will finish the railing at the ramp. Plus he is going to help me around the place do some cleaning up. Grandson is going to help me with the yard and whatever his dad will be doing around the place.
